The Virginia Tech Hokies have been the dominant team in the ACC since they entered along with Miami in the early part of the new millennium. The Hokies have won several conference titles, and appear on their way to capturing possibly another championship. This year, there are still several teams that are hoping to derail Virginia Tech in the Coastal division. 토토
The Miami Hurricanes were the most likely team to unseat the Hokies, but their chances took a blow when they lost in the last minute in Blacksburg. Virginia Tech remains one game ahead of the Hurricanes, and holds the head-to-head tiebreaker. Georgia Tech and North Carolina are the other teams still holding hopes of playing in the Orange Bowl at season’s end.
This weekend, these teams all play big games that could help make the picture clearer over which will win the ACC. Georgia Tech travels to Miami to face the Hurricanes, while the Tar Heels face an undefeated Clemson squad. The Tigers are one of the top team in the nation, and North Carolina cannot afford another conference loss after losing to the Hurricanes last week.
Miami’s hopes for a conference title hinge on their game with the Yellow Jackets. If Miami wins, and Georgia Tech beats Virginia Tech later in the season, the three times could all end with two losses in the conference. Of course, the Hurricanes still have Florida State on the schedule in early November in a game that will likely knock one of the teams out of the conference battle.
Virginia Tech goes out of conference this week against Boston College. The Hokies are 21 point favorites over the Eagles. Miami is a three point favorite at home against Georgia Tech, and the Tar Heels are 11 point underdogs on the road at Clemson. The Seminoles host Maryland, and FSU is an 18 point favorite in that game.
