A woman in her 20s who murdered an unidentified woman of her age and abandoned her body was identified as Jung Jeong-jeong, 23, born in 1999.
On the afternoon of the 1st, the Busan National Police Agency held a review committee on the disclosure of personal information and voted to disclose the faces, names, and ages of the suspects in the case.
An official from the Busan National Police Agency explained, “The gravity and brutality of the crime was recognised, and the disclosure was decided based on the need for public interest, such as the preventive effect on similar crimes.”
According to the police, the day before 토토사이트(31st), the suspect, Jung, stated that he committed the crime because he was interested in the internet and broadcast crime investigation programmes, which gave him the urge to kill. He was quoted as saying, “I committed the crime because I wanted to actually kill.”
Chung’s statement seems to indicate that this was a “premeditated crime.
Earlier, Jung allegedly murdered the victim, A (20s, female), at her home in Geumjeong-gu, Busan, at around 5:30 p.m. on the 26th, and then mutilated and abandoned her body.
After the crime, Jung allegedly took a suitcase and a weapon from his home and mutilated the body at A’s home.
At dawn on the 27th, the day after the crime, Chung loaded A’s body into a suitcase and took a taxi to a grassy area along the Nakdong River in Yangsan, Gyeongnam Province, where he abandoned it. A taxi driver who found the scene suspicious called the police, and Jung was arrested at a hospital around 6 a.m. that day.
A court issued an arrest warrant for Chung on 29 November, saying he was a flight risk.
